The DSA releases list of category finalists ahead of Direct Seller’s Day
Congratulations to this year’s 2022 DSA Scholarship Recipients
Every year, the Direct Selling Education Foundation of Canada (DSEF) Scholarship Program awards a total of $16,000 to eligible Canadian post-secondary students with ties to the direct selling industry. This helps them to advance their post-secondary education and to raise awareness of the direct selling business model, both among students and academia.
This year's renewed DSEF Scholarship Program awarded four $4,000 scholarships to Canadian university students pursuing degrees in business and science, including one to Milana Abbruscato, a student at the University of Guelph whose grandmother is an Avon Representative.

Live Shopping Events are back!
We have some fantastic news! Live Shopping Events are happening each campaign. Invite your Customers to this social selling experience. These short live events, “Let’s Shop Avon,” will be hosted by you privately within your Facebook Groups or Pages to support you with sourcing new Customers and increasing your sales.
You will be able to:
Cross-sell and upsell the products being featured at the live events
Engage customers with interactive conversations
Share product knowledge through Fast Facts sheets and guides
Increase your average order, increase order frequency and acquire new customers

New national holiday may result in delivery delays
As you may have heard, September 19 was just declared a national holiday in honour of Queen Elizabeth’s passing. While we do not yet know how the new holiday will be observed across the country, please be aware that it could delay the delivery of packages through Canada Post and other carriers. Avon Canada will remain open.
Holiday impact on your Submission Date
Please note that due to the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, your Submission Date may be earlier than usual. Carefully double-check your campaign calendar for any impact the holiday may have on your Submit/Cut-off Dates to avoid delivery delays.
Improving site security with reCAPTCHA
Live as of September 14, 2022, for DTC and Accelerated Representatives—reCAPTCHA has been added to avon.ca at the order check-out page when placing an order.
If you’re unfamiliar, reCAPTCHA is a security service designed to protect websites from fraud and abuse using adaptive techniques like image or text selection grids to help distinguish between regular humans and malicious bots.
This new addition to our site is aimed at providing a more secure shopping experience for all.
