The month of May is coming fast and it’s the perfect time to start creating awareness around the importance of sun protection. This time of year presents a great opportunity for you to grow your business as you cater to your customers’ sun protection needs.

Understanding Brochure Prices and Shipping Fees

As you may be aware, starting in Campaign 9, 2023, a new shipping fee structure has come into place. All orders created before April 28 will be billed at the old shipping fee rate, while all C9 orders will be billed at the new rate. For more details, please refer to the Shipping Fee Structure or the General Policies and Procedures.

 

Also, please note that brochure prices will increase slightly in C9, to reflect the current cost of printing campaign literature. Campaign literature from Campaign 12 and beyond will be billed at the new rate. This means, when you submit an order for C12 campaign literature or beyond, the new pricing structure will apply. If you have reserved campaign literature in a C08 +1 environment, you will see the old price displayed but will be charged the new rate at the time of billing. Any flyers that are valid for multiple campaigns and started prior to C12 will not increase in price. To learn more, please consult our Ordering Brochures and Pricing guide.

 

While we understand that increases of any kind are not ideal, please know that Avon's brochure and shipping fees remain competitive in the social selling industry. We have worked hard to minimize these increases, but due to many external factors, they have become necessary and unavoidable.

 

We want to assure you that we have been delaying this adjustment as much as possible. We have done a lot in the background to avoid increasing costs to our Representatives, but the headwinds related to current increases in the cost of living impacting all industries involved in the manufacturing of brochures and shipping of products are too great. We conducted a competitive analysis and found that our brochure and shipping fees remain extremely competitive amongst social selling companies, even with this adjustment.

 

It's important to note that the last time we increased our shipping fees was in 2019, and since then, shipping fees have gone up 45%, which is a significant impact on our costs. We've been resisting increasing fees since then. Four years later, we’ve made every effort to minimize the increase, and when we compare our rates to other companies, we found that generally, we're still lower than everyone else.

 

We also feel it is important to give you a better understanding of how the shipping fees are funded. Please note that even with this modest increase, as an Avon Representative, you pay only a fraction of the actual cost of shipping, and Avon pays the rest. This policy applies to all Tiers and was designed to help reduce the costs associated with running an Avon business.

 

We think it is important to share this information with you because it supports and explains the adjustments we’ve made. We appreciate your understanding and support as we navigate these changes, and thank you for being a valued part of the Avon community.

 

Call Center temporarily unavailable as ACC Team upgrades their skills

As you know, our amazing Avon Customer Care Team is dedicated to providing you with the best Customer service in the industry. To help them stay on top of their game and enhance the service they provide to you and your Customers, the ACC phone lines and chat button will be closed for 1 hour on Thursday, April 27, 2023, between 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm as the team gathers for a brief training session. We’ll be happy to take your calls after the training session is complete.

Avon Canada will be closed for upcoming holiday

Please note that Avon Canada, and many delivery companies across the country, will be closed on Monday, May 22, for Victoria Day.

 

Remember to double-check your campaign calendar for any impact the holiday may have on your Delivery and/or Submit by Dates—your order may arrive one or two days later or earlier than expected.
